Terms of Service — Sprites Vault

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sprites Vault (the "Service"), a fan-made website developed and operated by Aleksandr Berlin, an independent developer ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Sprites Vault Is

Sprites Vault is a free tool that lets you track your Fortnite sprite collection, view reference information about sprites and their variants, and optionally match with other collectors to trade the variants you are missing. Sprites Vault is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Epic Games, Inc. All Fortnite content, names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

2. Accounts

Some features require you to sign in with your email address using a one-time code. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account you use to sign in and for any activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and must be old enough to use the Service under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

3. Linking an Epic Games Account

Trading features are optional and require you to link an Epic Games account. When you link your account, you authorize us to receive and store your Epic account identifier and display name as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Epic Games services remains subject to Epic Games' own terms and policies. You may unlink your Epic account at any time.

4. Trading Between Users

Sprites Vault only helps collectors find one another based on the sprites they own and want. Any trade, arrangement, or communication between users happens directly between those users and within Fortnite itself. We do not facilitate, guarantee, mediate, or take responsibility for the outcome of any trade, and we are not a party to it. Trade responsibly and only with people you choose to trust.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms or Epic Games' terms;

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems;

Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to probe or scrape the Service or its infrastructure;

Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;

Harass, defraud, or harm other users.

6. Intellectual Property

Fortnite, sprite artwork, and related names and imagery are the property of Epic Games, Inc. and its licensors, and are used here for identification and reference purposes only. The Sprites Vault name, original text, and site code are provided for your personal, non-commercial use of the Service. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability, accuracy, or non-infringement. Reference data such as sprite abilities, rarities, and Sprite Dust estimates is community-sourced and may be incomplete or inaccurate. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aleksandr Berlin and Sprites Vault will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or in-game items, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including any trades arranged between users.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or remove content, if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
